Volunteer with us September 3, 2021 (updated January 3, 2022) | By Tina Do you like working with young people, like to organise crafts, play games and are patient and caring? If so, we have a great, fulfilling volunteering opportunity for you! We are looking to recruit extra helpers for our Beavers Section (aged 6 – 8), our Cubs section (aged 8 -10.5) and our Scout section (aged 10.5-14). All sections meet on Thursdays. Beavers meet between 5.15 – 6.30 pm, Cubs between 6.30 and 8pm and Scouts between 8 and 9.30pm. We would welcome any time you can give either weekly, fortnightly or monthly. All you need is enthusiasm and the will to get involved as little or as much as you wish. We offer some basic training, the chance to learn new skills and a friendly, fun team to work with.
